The ID16 card holder is designed to focus on the function and nature of the business id card. we focused on designing an id card with the improvements of the competitors in the market such as the insufficient storage capacity, bulky design and heavyweight. The id card holder can hold three cards at once at a lightweight (16g). We reduced the carbon gas emissions from the manufacturing process by using eco-friendly plastic material from recycled wood waste. Also, this material enhanced the look of the holder with irregular patterns.​​​​​​​

ID16은 사원증 카드홀더의 기능과 본질에 집중하여 개발한 제품입니다. 기존 제품의 부족한 수납력, 투박한 디자인, 무거운 무게 등을 
개선하고자 신용카드 사이즈를 베이스로 컴팩트하게 설계하였으며, 16g의 가벼운 무게, 심플한 디자인과 함께 최대 3장의 카드를 수납할 수 있도록 했습니다. 또한 폐목재의 부산물을 재활용한 친환경 플라스틱 WPC를 적용하여 제조과정에서 발생하는 탄소가스 배출을 감소시켰으며, 목재 섬유와 플라스틱이 혼합되며 발생하는 특유의 내추럴한 컬러톤과 불규칙한 패턴으로 내구성과 심미성을 높였습니다.

The id card holder can hold three cards at once at a lightweight (16g). The embossed stripe pattern guides the direction to pull out the card using a thumb to allow the user to eject the card quickly by not looking at it.

16g의 무게에 최대 3장까지 카드수납이 가능한 수납공간이 적용되었습니다. 
뒷면의 수직 스트라이프 패턴은 제품을 보지 않고도 카드를 꺼내는 방향을 안내하여, 사용자가 빠르게 카드를 꺼낼 수 있습니다.

A winged elastic structure and rubber slip pad are applied on the edge of the storage place to secure the card perfectly.
The strap is made of non-toxic silicone and is fixed inside the card holder so that it does not come off even when pulled hard. However, it is designed to break if excessive force is applied for safety reasons such as suffocation.

날개 형상의 탄성구조와 러버슬립패드가 카드를 완벽히 고정하여 카드가 쉽게 빠지지 않습니다. 
스트랩은 유아용품에 사용되는 무독성 실리콘을 적용하였으며 카드홀더 내부에 고정하여 세게 잡아당겨도 빠지지 않습니다. 
다만 질식 등 안전상의 이유로 과한 힘이 가해질 경우 끊어지도록 설계 되어 있습니다.

We reduced the carbon gas emissions from the manufacturing process by using WPC from recycled wood waste.
WPC is an eco-friendly plastic that combines recycled wood by-products such as waste wood and sawdust with polymer resin through a special kneading method. The wood fiber used in the product uses only FSC-certified wood flour, which is safe because it does not contain harmful substances.

ID16은 WPC를 적용하여 제조과정에서 발생하는 탄소가스 배출을 감소 시킵니다.
WPC는 폐목재, 톱밥 등 버려지는 목재 부산물을 재활용하여 고분자수지와 특수혼련공법을 통해 결합한 친환경 플라스틱 입니다. 
제품에 사용되는 목재섬유는 FSC인증을 받은 목분만을 사용하여 유해물질이 없어 안전합니다.

We tried to reduce the environmental impact of discarded packaging after opening the product by using eco-friendly paper made from 100% sugarcane without bleaching and applying SOY INK

표백을 하지 않고 100% 사탕수수로 만든 친환경 종이를 사용하고 콩기름 인쇄방식을 적용하여 
제품 개봉 후 버려지는 포장이 환경에 미치는 영향을 줄이려고 노력했습니다.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
